XB-7 MoCA support

Hi, I have an XB-7 router. I want to add other access points in my house via MoCA. It looks like XB-7 has support for this, but there is only one coaxial cable port. Wouldn't I need another port for the cable out? Or does it also output along that cable port? Thanks

XB8 , Moca (advanced privacy) started enabling itself constanly last week and causing a lot of network issues.

After I disable Moca through the router interface or the App, It turns itself back on after a few hours. The dhcp also begins to assign incorrect IP and some apps only work intermittenly . MoCA Transmits Low

Hi, According to the Xfinity website, my cable setup is complaining about "MoCA Transmits Low". I don't see any problems, but Xfinity is suggesting a truck roll. Is this a problem I need to get fixed or can I ignore it? I don't use any of the xFI gateways. Here's what I have: 2 DVR cable boxes1 non-

Neighbors devices somehow connected to my moca?

I started service this week at my new apartment and as soon as my router was turned on I saw there were 5 devices connected to my wifi, but I only own two. All of the other devices say they’re either wired to my router or connected via moca; both of which shouldn't be possible as I don’t share my wi

Internet Only and MoCa to Ethernet Adapter

Hello, I have 400MB/s service and a CGM4140COM xfinity cable modem. I know xFinity has good security protection, but would like to test drive a Firewalla Gold device as my router instead of the xFinity Cable Modem. Firewalla Gold doesn't support Coax however, so I purchased an Actiontec ECB7250 Coax

What model exactly is the MoCA 2.5 adapter? You also may have to shut off MoCA protected Setup or MPS, it's not supported on MoCA 2.0.  I also wouldn't expect any speed difference using a 2.5 adapter in MoCA 2.0 mode.

MoCA 2.0 adapter connects to XB7 gateway but MoCA 2.5 adapter doesn't

Hi - I connected a MoCA bonded 2.0 adapter to a coax jack and it works well with my MoCA-enabled XB7 gateway, but the resulting speed via ethernet cable to my computer maxes out at around 450 mbps. I have 1200 mbps service, so I purchased a MoCA 2.5 adapter to get a faster speed, but this adapter wo

Enabling Privacy on MoCa Network

Hello, I just enabled MoCa on my XB7 and installed an adapter in another room for my stepson’s Xbox. Got everything working, but since I’m in an apartment, I don’t know if a PoE is installed on the outside line. Under MoCa diagnostics in the XB7, privacy is disabled. How can I enable this on my XB7?

Your second "proposed" diagram looks fine (with one adjustment*), assuming that the MoCA adapters you choose include a RF pass-through port; if not, you'd need to use a MoCA 2.x-compatible splitter** at the modem location to get both the modem and Mo
