Need help with MoAC! What additional hardware is needed for Xfinity modem with built in MoCA to use existing COAX wiring.
What extra hardware is needed for Xfinity modem with built in MoCA to use the abandoned COAX jacks throughout my house? I think I just need an adaptor for each COAX outlet I plan to use for ethernet, See attached diagram and provide any feedback on anything wired wrong or components needed, Thanks!

That will work. Use a 3-way MoCA capable (5-1675) splitter if you can instead of a 5-way splitter for less signal loss if you don't need 5 ports. Or at least cap the unused ports with 75-ohm terminators such as these: www.amazon.com/Ohm-Terminator-4-Pack-Cable-Connections/dp/B0016A986K
And. *IMPORTANT*. Be sure to install a MoCA POE (Point Of Entry) filter (if there isn't one already) on the input port of that MoCA splitter off of the coax cable street drop to keep your signals in your premises and to keep the neighbor's signals out. Amazon has them: https://www.amazon.com/SNLP-1GCW-Filter-Eliminate-Multi-Room-Interference/dp/B07SLD9QPH
Or you may be able to get one for free at your local Comcast / Xfinity store. Or book a tech to come out and install one for you. It will save you from a bunch of network security heartaches !!!

Everything went smoothly, I saved so much time not running ethernet throughout the house! If you've been thinking about MoCA then take the plunge and install it, super easy. Thanks for all the help.
Only thing is you will need another adaptor if your modem is not MoCA enabled, luckily mine was.
