TV pixelation issue

After upgrading to an XB8 modem my TV started pixelating every few seconds. It seems to happen on all channels, but does not occur when I'm streaming through the internet. If I shut down the modem the TV works fine. Could it be that the modem drains the signal or creates interference in the line?

I ordered the newest DVR to replace my old XG1P. I was sent an XG1A, which looks exactly the same. Did Xfinity send me an even older model than what I currently have? What is the newest DVR box? Is it the XG1v4?

Cable Box vs. DTA

On my bill I notice I am being charged $5.00 for the Cable box and remote. I am being charged $5.99 per month for each DTA. Can I replace a DTA with a Cable box and remote and save myself the 99 cents per month and also increase my channel availibities?

disney + app no longer working on xfinity
