Newest DVR?

I ordered the newest DVR to replace my old XG1P.  I was sent an XG1A, which looks exactly the same. Did Xfinity send me an even older model than what I currently have?  

What is the newest DVR box?  Is it the XG1v4?

XG1v4 is a 4K DVR.  Xi6 is another 4K box, but wireless.  XiOne also does 4K, but it's for streaming apps, not regular TV.

I don't know.   Here's a link to a chart comparing all the features of Xfinity boxes, altho it's a few years old.

Thank you.  It looks like the XG1v4 is probably newer than the XG1A.

XG1-A is the newest non-4k box. Also, known as the XG1v3. The XG1v4 is the newest DVR. 

I have had both and can say the v4 is very fast in comparison to the v3.
