Above: I meant to say the 2nd port on my **modem**, not router.I've enabled LAG in the modem's settings, connected both CAT-6 cables, and enabled WAN aggregation on the router. It now reads "Status: WAN aggregation is active."Am I all set?
Link Aggregation, SB8200
I recently upgraded my router - is a Netgear Orbi WiFi 6, AX4200 that supports WAN aggregation if I can get a 2nd IP address to enable link aggregation on my SB8200 modem. I've read other threads that seem to indicate Xfinity's ability and willingness to assign a 2nd IP address. Could someone assist
Question
This is the first I've heard about the XB7 or XB8. I understand they have no port to plug in a hard drive to let several computers in the network share the same files. Is there another way to be able to do this?
NEW xFi Gateway XB8
I am excited for the NEW XB8 Gateway. From looking at the documentation and links https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/broadband-gateways-userguides? and https://www.xfinity.com/learn/internet-service/supersonic it will come with WiFi 6 Technology. I reached out to Support below and they don't k
Question
I don't think 'Email' is the correct forum for this request. I'm asking to unblock a port that just happens to be used by email, but really has nothing to do with 'email' as far as Comcast is concerned. It's a internet-service level request.
@XfinityCSAEmail request to unblock port 25
Like others on this forum, I'm posting only to request a port 25 unblock. @XfinityCSAEmail I understand the risks as described in other posts. Please unblock the port as soon as possible. Thank you.

Arris SB8200 Problems
Hello, I upgraded my service to 400Mbps a while back but never got more than about 100 Mbps. I had a service tech out who said that my modem was too old (it was DOCSIS 2) so I upgraded to an Arris SB8200. Recently, I have been having a lot of connection issues, and even when plugged directly into
Question
Yes this is an Xfinity device. The sticker on the side shows two SSIDs and what I assume is the password for those. I need the password for the gateway admin site of the router so I can add some port forwards and the like.

Question
So I feel stupid, but I don't need the Xfinity gateway port forwarding if I put the modem in bridge mode, since I have my own router. However, it is still concerning to me that the devices do not match what was in the gateway.
Devices listed on my gateway wifi do not match devices in my xfinity application
So I wanted to setup port forwarding. I logged into my router via https://10.0.0.1. When I go to connected devices, it correctly shows just my one device (a unifi gateway). When I try to setup port forwarding, it says I have to do it in the xfinity application. When I go to
Question
We will get to the bottom of this and appreciate your help with troubleshooting, @user_65ez7b! Did you previously set up these port forwards in the admin tool or is this the first time setting them up with our service using the Xfinity app?
Unable to port forward
I am trying to port forward two ports, 25566 and 25565. I have set them up in the app but when I go to test the ports, they are not open. How can I resolve this? I followed all of the steps in the xfinity guide in the support section. This is a major deal breaker if I can not get this to work as thi

Microsoft Remote Desktop
Switched to Xfinity 2 weeks ago. Got an emergency request to Remote Desktop into a server and kaboom, blocked by Xfinity. What is the solution? I tried opening port 3389 put still can't get through. Did not have this issue with Uverse and neither did I have to open a port. Very irritating.
