Xfinity app port forwarding STILL not working!

It's been well over a year and still the app will not connect under: Wifi/View WiFi equipment/Advanced settings/Port forwarding 

A unacceptable workaround was through the xfinity assistant but that method fails recently as you can't get to the network/port forwarding when typed in.  XFINITY if customers can't access their equipment in order to have devices function on our network...FIX IT!

just found a new workaround  xFinity Port Forward fix 2024 foud this youtube video showing you how

I was able to add a port to a computer before I no longer had access but now I have a port security issue because I can't remove it....Such a worthless and over priced dis-service with Comcast/Xfinity!  You would think they would give customers full access with the prices they charge! One day they will be gone and we will move onto the next but for now FIX IT! 

Xfinity employee chat bots...PLEASE ESCALATE THIS ISSUE AS ALL THE BAD SUPPORT ADVICE YOU HAVE GIVEN THUS FAR IS WORTHLESS!

@user_008056​   I was trying all sorts of key words to bring up the advanced settings but to no avail.  I would have never thought of using Xfi for the new work around! Great score!

What the error message you displayed in the post have you tried uninstalling the app or tried using the app on a different device & making sure that the app version you're using is updated

Enough with how to use port forwarding info...fix the app!  I have tried it on multiple devices and reinstalling the app does nothing.  This is on your end Xfinity....Escalate this issue to higher level of support for a better solution!

Is there anyone else out there that can not get to the Port Forwarding section within the app?

I understand the app is not working for you,  have you tried the other second option that it's listed in the information I provided and see if you can process the port forwarding through that way

@XfinityOrlandoM​ Both methods you provide do not work nor have worked for over a year...Can you post a real picture not a stock photo of the port forwarding screen showing that it works.

@user_4uahg8 I want to make sure you're able to manage your network from the Xfinity app. Due to security reasons, we are not able to assist with port forwarding. Have you tried factory resetting the modem? I've seen this work in the past.

@XfinityEmilyB​ Don't tell me what to do that all hasn't worked for over a year now...Just show me in your app that it works by posting a picture of your app displaying the port forward settings.

PATHETIC WORTHLESS SUPPORT AND OVER PRICED SERVICE Comcast/Xfinity !!!  The crazy high prices we pay as consumers you should be ashamed when you leave the problem solving to the community users.  Fix your app because it is krap! Can't wait until this company folds under and goes away leaving hopefully better and cheaper services.
