Xfinity app port forwarding STILL not working!
It's been well over a year and still the app will not connect under: Wifi/View WiFi equipment/Advanced settings/Port forwarding
A unacceptable workaround was through the xfinity assistant but that method fails recently as you can't get to the network/port forwarding when typed in. XFINITY if customers can't access their equipment in order to have devices function on our network...FIX IT!

Thanks for reaching out! This link https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/port-forwarding-xfinity-wireless-gateway has great information on two ways you can set up the port forward,
What the error message you displayed in the post have you tried uninstalling the app or tried using the app on a different device & making sure that the app version you're using is updated

PATHETIC WORTHLESS SUPPORT AND OVER PRICED SERVICE Comcast/Xfinity !!! The crazy high prices we pay as consumers you should be ashamed when you leave the problem solving to the community users. Fix your app because it is krap! Can't wait until this company folds under and goes away leaving hopefully better and cheaper services.
