Brige mode blocked all device access

I have the Google Nest network connected to my Xfinity Gateway. I put the Xfinity Gateway into Bridge mode and then none of the devices on my home network could access the internet. All browsers on all my PCs could not access the internet. Is this about two different networks one on the Google Wifi

Modem

Cable modem connection drops out multiple times per day

Hi, Looking for some help with this issue. My modem loses its connection multiple times per day - sometimes for a few minutes, and sometimes for up to an hour.  Probably happens 10 times a day.  I've tried restarting the modem, and sometimes that fixes it and sometimes it doesn't.
