No Bluetooth Connectivity on New Xumo Box

My old flex box was no longer working so I went to the xfinity store to exchange it for a new one. The new Xumo streaming box does not support me connecting any of Bluetooth audio devices. My whole purpose for my old flex box, and subsequently my new Xumo box is to connect for Bluetooth audio playback. This is very frustrating.

Thanks for reaching out to us, we no longer carry the Xfinity flex boxes so since the services were rebranded to Xumo we have new boxes that need to be used, , We appreciate you reaching out to our Community Forums Team, and providing the feedback. I currently am experiencing the same issue w/ the XUMO stream box as well. Did you resolve you're issue and if so whats the method to end this madness?

Hi there @user_szmeun. I am sorry to hear that you are not able to use Bluetooth on your new XUMO box. This feature is not available on this box.

We just picked up a XUMO box yesterday and discovered it has ZERO connectivity for external bluetooth devices like headphones. This is just the most ridiculous thing to exclude the feature especially when you have to purchase the box. Our townhouse caught fire back in March and while they rebuild the only place we could afford to live in is a tiny "micro studio" apartment which is 209sq/ft. When my wife wants to watch tv without bothering me she would wear her headphones paired to the X1 box but we added a Bose soundbar that absolutely doesn't want to play well with the X1 box. The Bose works fine without any issues with the XUMO but it's a dealbreaker that there's no bluetooth. 209sq/ft means I'm sitting right next to the tv when I'm at the computer trying to work. Also using the stream app you lose the pause/rewind/fast forward functions the X1 has for live tv. Before the fire we used to use a ROKU Ultra in the bedroom and I think we could still pause live tv on that......I'll have to look it up.

reewinder, Hi there! Thanks for reaching out. I like to make sure I have my Bluetooth speakers working with my devices, so I understand the inconvenience that is caused when your wife wants to watch TV without bothering you while trying to work. I am sorry to learn about this experience with zero connectivity. You've reached the right spot. We are a team of experts who are excited to provide solutions for pairing Bluetooth devices over social media. We can help. In researching this, I see that the streaming box can have one device connected at a time like in the steps found in this link here. Please let me know if this helps.
