We’re aware some customers may have been having an issue activating their Peacock Premium plan. Peacock and their technology partner have implemented a fix and you should now be able to activate your subscription.

I am a Diamond Reward Member, I received an Email saying Peacock plus will be free starting today June 26, 2023. I am unable to find it in my rewards or account. Please contact me to get this resolved.

Hi, @user_07c343! Thanks for visiting XFINITY. Great question. We’re aware some customers are having difficulty activating their Peacock account. If you’re not seeing an activation banner on xfinity.com/account, have you tried going to Xfinity Assistant and selecting Sign In? The activation banner should appear at the top of the chat and should work once you click it. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for being an Xfinity customer.

Today is June 26th and there are no offers showing up.  I am both a Xfinity Gigabit customer AND Platinum rewards member.  I have not received an offer for either.  Please advise how to obtain the free Peacock Premium as promised.

Your email states that there is a reward for 2 years of free Peacock TV for Diamond customers. I am a Diamond customer and there is no reward listed for Peacock. What's up with that?

My wife does the rewards under her account but for some reason she can never sign into the forums and no one has been able to fix that in years.

She accepted the Peacock Reward on the xfinity app.  She immediately received 2 emails - one that showed our new billing with Peacock include but at no charge and another with rather vague instructions on how to activate.

First step says to sign into the xifinity account and click Activate Now on the Peacock banner.    WHERE??????  On the website, on the app, on the flex box????  Because none work, it just let's us sign in and there is no activation banner.  And since we don't have that we don't get redirected to the Peacock website.

Peacock website wants us to pay.   

There is an Activate Now button in the email at the bottom  of the instructions but it does nothing more than take us to the xfinity website.

Can someone please help???  We use the flex box for our streaming.

I am also a diamond member and when I try to get this reward I was emailed about a week ago it tells me “Were sorry, looks like this award isn't available to you at this time.”

Also when I try to report an issue with rewards it tells me I’m not the primary account holder when I most definitely am because I was just logged in to rewards. This is extremely frustrating and no chat support can seem to help. 

Anyone else having the same issues?   If so, have you had it resolved and what was the resolution??

Being a 20+ year faithful customer and having issues to claim a reward is just unacceptable!

We are sorry to hear you are having trouble activating your Peacock Premium Reward, @user_f262be. If you are logging into Xfinity Rewards with your primary user Xfinity ID, and still cannot access your reward, please log off, and back in. You can also clear cache and cookies and attempt to log in again. An update was pushed out to help with the error. If this doesn't pull up your reward, we can look into this further for you. If we may, please send us a Direct Message with your name, and address. We look forward to your reply.

Without looking into any account details, I have seen updates that indicate the Gig accounts need to be up to date with no past-due balances.

  • No action is required if you’ve previously linked your Peacock account with your X1 or Flex service.
    • Otherwise, you’ll need to sign in to xfinity.com/chat to activate Peacock

I was able to log into my Xfinity rewards and “claim” the free Peacock Premium rewards, but it is not activating and letting me continue to use Peacock. I’ve restarted the modem and logged out/in and Peacock still says I am currently not subscribed.

After speaking to 2 different people I finally had the peacock premium show up in my rewards I clicked to redeem and then when I went back to check it said

There is currently a known issue with the Peacock redemption. We recommend waiting up to 72 hours and reach back out if you experience issues after 72 hours.

@user_19d778 We do apologize, but there is actually no estimated time provided by our team of engineers working on the Peacock redemption issues we assure you as this is a widespread issue they are working as fast as possible to find a resolution to the issue. If you have already attempted the Xfinity.com/Account option and the Xfinity assistant option to see if the banner is showing and those options are not working the last recommendation at this time till the issue is resolved would be to possibly check your Xfinity rewards options. Some customers are not able to redeem in one area but since they can qualify based on their tenure with us as well the Xfinity rewards options has been working for some but not all. Reset assured however if you are not able to use any of these options at this out team is still working on it!

I went to my Xfinity account and Redeem my Free Peacock premium and I was told I would get an email I never received the email for the activation what is going on I spoke with an agent who created a ticket ECM0002418359

@XfinityVictor​ They seem to be in the same situation as myself. I received an email stating because I have gigabit internet, that I would be able to get Peacock Premium until June 25, 2025. It stated more information would be emailed, but that was the only communication sent. All online directions say to activate Peacock Premium under our Xfinity account page. There is no offer or mention of activating Peacock. Trying to figure out what we are doing wrong, or is the activation page not live to Gigabit customers. To answer the question, there is area under our account section to Activate. We are told to go one place, and then there isn't another available step to proceed.

Finally this evening the reward showed up for me on the Xfinity web page. a few hours later I saw a banner and link when I logged into the Xfinity web page. But when I clicked it showed my comcast.net email address and a button to activate. However when I clicked on the link I received the following message -
"We were unable to link Peacock to your account. You may already have Peacock Premium. Learn More" When I clicked on the learn more link it took me to a page about DirecTV.

When will this be fixed?

I saw the reward in xfinity rewards and hit to claim or get it and then I ended up receiving the email saying to go to the xfinity account and click on some activation banner and that it would then take you to peacock but I'm not seeing an activation banner. In the email I saw something that said activate now and I clicked on that but I never saw a banner to click on when it took me to xfinity

The Peacock reward appeared on my Rewards page and I accepted it.  I then received an email that gave me instructions on how to activate it.  

    Sign into your Xfinity account and click Activate Now on the Peacock banner. This will redirect you to Peacock's website.

No Peacock banner appears with an "Activate Now".

I hope your week has been treating you well. Thanks so much for taking a moment out of your busy day to leave a post on our community forum. I'm sorry to hear you're having issues with your Peacock Premium reward, but you have definitely come to the right place for assistance.

 

We just received an update on this, letting us know the Xfinity Assistant was now able to help if the activation banner isn't showing up for you. If you don't see the activation banner after clicking xfinity.com/account, scroll down a little to where it says "Didn't find what you were looking for?" and click on the "Ask Xfinity Assistant" button. That should allow you to select "Sign In", and the activation banner should appear at the top of the chat.

 

Additionally, if you haven't already done so, we recommend restarting your gateway and then re-authenticating your Xfinity Rewards account by logging out and then logging back in, to make sure you receive the latest update. Please let me know if you are still having issues after this, and we can try a different approach.
