peacock premium

The Peacock reward appeared on my Rewards page and I accepted it.  I then received an email that gave me instructions on how to activate it.  

    Sign into your Xfinity account and click Activate Now on the Peacock banner. This will redirect you to Peacock's website.

No Peacock banner appears with an "Activate Now".

I can verify that I was able to activate my Peacock reward.  The link in the email took me to an "Xfinity Assistant" page with a banner for activating my Peacock subscription.

I hope your week has been treating you well. Thanks so much for taking a moment out of your busy day to leave a post on our community forum. I'm sorry to hear you're having issues with your Peacock Premium reward, but you have definitely come to the right place for assistance.

 

We just received an update on this, letting us know the Xfinity Assistant was now able to help if the activation banner isn't showing up for you. If you don't see the activation banner after clicking xfinity.com/account, scroll down a little to where it says "Didn't find what you were looking for?" and click on the "Ask Xfinity Assistant" button. That should allow you to select "Sign In", and the activation banner should appear at the top of the chat.

 

Additionally, if you haven't already done so, we recommend restarting your gateway and then re-authenticating your Xfinity Rewards account by logging out and then logging back in, to make sure you receive the latest update. Please let me know if you are still having issues after this, and we can try a different approach.

@GalleryGirl Thank you for reaching out to us here on our Community Forums. We see that you and others are having issues, so we'll provide the instructions here to see if we can get you and others taken care of. -- Please clear your cookies and cache before attempting these steps:

 

1. Go to (https://www.xfinity.com/chat/)

2. Click on 'Sign In'

3. The Activation Banner should be at the top of the page.

 

Give that a try and if it still does not work, please let us know.

Oh no, @user_f05d49. Let's get that working. Would you mind confirming if you are using an X1 set top box, a Flex streaming device, or third party device? Do you also have Gig speed internet service?

@kenkaz @AndiNY331 @Petek01 @user_f05d49 @GalleryGirl this work around using the Xfinity Assistant has worked for a lot of our customers but not for all. I apologize for the ongoing issue. The issue is still actively being worked on, but we don't have an estimated resolution time at the moment. We will continue to do all we can to get the activation steps working for everyone as efficiently as possible.

We’re aware of an issue affecting some Peacock account activations for Gig, NOW TV, and Xfinity Rewards (Diamond and Platinum) customers. These customers are unable to complete account activation through xfinity.com/account due to the activation banner not appearing. Our teams are hard at work to get this all sorted out here asap.

The "banner" finally showed up in the chat assistant.  I  have successfully activated my subscription.
