Speed Test
xfinity says use their speed test but it's all over the place. Like why would you test speed from puma Arizona to New Mexico? It's not accurate I don't think. If my pc is pinging off Arizona or whatever then maybe something needs fixing. Maybe once again xfinity can't handle the traffic from so many

Gateway speed test
What's the best way to check internet speed at the gateway? If I understand correctly, xfinity speed test measures speed to the device. On my xfinity app, the Internet Health/Check your Speeds seems to be non-functional. (Not sure if this is because I have the gateway in bridge mode. Doesn't seem li

Speed test
There is discrepancy when testing speeds. Using xfinity test or Oakla I get 30-35 maps consistently. Using Mlab I get 190-200 mbs which is supossibly what I am paying for. Verizon gives me the same as Mlab, and if use fast.com I get 80-90 mbps. A 10 to 15 percent is perhaps expected but 6 times lowe

Test speed to gateway was removed
Why was the option to test the speed to your gateway removed? It feels like Xfinity is trying to hide the tools used by power users to manage their own network. There is another post by a different user a few months ago with the same observation and a copy paste from the FAQ's was posted in response

What speeds should my speed test from Xfinity app be showing?
I am getting about 30% of my plan speed when running the speed test from the Xfinity mobile app. I have gigabit Ethernet and a tech just came out to my house and told me these speeds are “average”. If that’s the case why am I paying for 1300?

Which is most accurate Internet speed test site?
My Xfinity Internet plan is currently supposed to be 400 Mpbs. That's overkill for us and I'm looking to downgrade, but first I want to see what we're really getting. I tried four different sites and they vary widely, from 75 Mbps to 250 Mbps. And they're all fairly consistent within themselves when

How to Test Gateway Speed with Gateway in Bridge Mode
I'm pretty sure the path to testing one's download speed at the Gateway lies through the Xfinity App, but that app doesn't do anything with a Gateway in Bridge Mode. What's up with the Xfinity Speed test?
Whenever I do a speed test with the app--which is supposed to be testing between the head end and my modem without Internet latency--it reports that I'm getting 25-35% of what I'm paying for. Whenever I use other speed tests on the internet they report between 75% to 105% of my rated service (400 Mb
