Moving my modem to a different room.

Since I can't get a hold of anyone at Xfinity (not even chat), I have to come here. My modem is set up in the laundry room since it doesn't get too hot in there. It's been the ideal place for it until now. I have someone that is going to start working home and their work is requiring an ethernet con

Upload speeds limited to ~20 Mbps

I have a 1100/300 Mbps plan. I recently upgraded my modem from a MB8600 to Hitron CUDA56 to be on xfinity approved Next Gen Speed Tier equipment. I have restarted the modem multiple times and I have not had any improvement in my upload speeds. Is there any way to have the modem reprovisioned/updated

The topology would be from ISP -> modem -> gateway. It wouldn't have been a component in this issue. Cat6 was used, yeah. The modem does have multi-gig NIC, yep. It ended up being a software update to the modem I didn't realize was there.

Currently experiencing our Ubiquiti UCI pegging around 940 Mbps down after several restarts and attempts at different times of the day. We're currently paying for the Gigabit 2x and want to ensure speeds delivered to the modem are as expected. I know that the device is supported for Next Gen Speed T

Linksys Router compatability with basic service

My Daughter is moving to Hyde Park in Chicago. The building offers a basic internet connection for $25/month. Can I use my existing Linksys MR7350 Mesh Wi-Fi Router (Wi-Fi 6 Router, Dual-Band Wireless Mesh Router for Home Mesh Network) to boost the signal throughout the living space? Thanks, Wayne

@jraycjay My issue is that I forgot my last password I changed to after updating from the default admin password:  'password'.  I believe Comcast periodically will update firmware, reprovision the modem or send administration information to my modem

Arris SB6190 - Admin Password not working. Before I reset to factory settings...

Will I cripple internet access for my network (for an extended period of time) until Comcast can reprovision the modem or can I expect to have the modem re-initialize quickly and allow me to reset the Admin password for the modem? Appreciate any comments before I pull the trigger this evening.

Had same problem with Arris S33. The upload speed isn’t supported on my modem until Jan/Feb - guessing your modem is the same.  Only Comcast modem can do full upload speed at this point (since plan is so new)

Gigabit x2 Upload Speed Issue

I just updated my plan to gigabit x2 from gigabit. My download speeds increased from 1400 to 2200 but my upload speed has not moved. It has stayed at 40mb. I am currently using a Netgear Nighthawk CAX80 6.0gbps router. My issue seems similar to this one https://forums.xfinity.com/conversations/your-

I was able to check the download speed to my modem from Xfinity on the app until 3 days ago. I rebooted the modem (just as a routine thing). Since then the app always throws " Something went wrong" Try again in one minute which does not work either. So I have no idea what speed I am getting from Xfi

Verify that the Arris S34 supports next-gen (>200mbps) upload in my area

I would like to see if someone from Comcast can confirm that the new Arris S34 modem will work with the newer 200mbps upload speed. Right now I have a Hitron Coda 56 modem that is successfully getting this speed (with overprovisioning it's actually more like 340-350mbps), so I would think that the S
