Upload speeds limited to ~20 Mbps

I have a 1100/300 Mbps plan. I recently upgraded my modem from a MB8600 to Hitron CUDA56 to be on xfinity approved Next Gen Speed Tier equipment. I have restarted the modem multiple times and I have not had any improvement in my upload speeds. Is there any way to have the modem reprovisioned/updated to allow the modem to access/use the speeds I pay for?

@user_lgbjlf Thanks for connecting with us here in our community. We're happy to help. Did you activate your new modem using your Xfinity app? This is required, so our system will recognize your new modem, and send a provisioning signal through the new modem activation process.

Hi Linda. Yes, I did activate it through the app.

@user_lgbjlf Great! This means our system should have the correct MAC address, but we can take a closer look to see what is causing the issue with the uploads. Please send us a Direct Message with your full name and service address. We look forward to hearing from you.
