Secure Hotspots

Are Xfinity hotspots secure? With my cell phone, I connect to my rented xfinity modem wifi at home. It's secure. But I see XFINITY and xfinitywifi as available. XFINITY has a lock icon on it. When I'm not at home, should I connect to XFINITY or xfinitywifi?

Cannot Log In

Gateway not updating for password change

I've updated my wifi password on the app, website, and logging in to gateway through browser. All of them show the password changed, but my gateway still uses the old password. I've reset the gateway multiple times and nothing changes. Any idea what to do next?
