It’s possible CBS All Access is blocking access, that’s where your question should be routed. Comcast has no control over what’s being shown through Amazon Prime, it’s just giving access

CBS steaming app not working with Xfinity stream
I enter Xfinity as my cable provider with my username and pw, it recognizes it and says I'm ready to stream. Then when I attempt to watch a live show I get an error message stating that my TV provider is not currently supported. Have tried removing and reinstalling the CBS app to no avail.

It "looks like" it's just a renaming, the way, say, CBS All Access became Paramount+. I think MGM just wants everyone to know who actually owns Epix.
