Free Phone Line Scam. Beware

I signed up nearly a year ago for the “free” phone line for a year. Well ended up getting charged 3-4$ each month. Not a huge deal there, but just canceled my FREE phone line and got charged $35. Called and asked for a refund, you can guess what kind of response I got back. Not good business practic

Per instructions on the websites of the companies being spoofed in the scam emails, they request that I FORWARD the entire email to their official reporting email. Reporting it to you (xfinity/comcast) does not guarantee that the company being spoof

Apple Watch Reward (Scam)

I was also scammed by the Apple Watch Reward. I was never even told the watch was meant to be cellular and was provided free only if connected to the Xfinity network for a monthly fee. So when I refuted the network charge they told me I would have to pay $12.49 per month for 21 months for the “free”
