Apple Watch Promotion Scam

I recently purchased a new Apple Watch SE 3 under the $300 promotion.  There was issues activating the watch and customer support ended up adding the watch to my account as a BYOD, which does not get the promotion.  I've told them repeatedly that this is not my issue to solve, and that they should restore the promotion since they activated it incorrectly.  All they keep saying is that the promotion cannot be applied now, with no offers to fix the problem they created.  Pretty much feel like they've just robbed me of $300 and all they have to say is 'sorry the promotion is gone'.  Unacceptable.

I am incredibly sorry for the frustrating feeling this situation has caused @unhappy_member. When a new device is incorrectly activated as a (BYOD), our automated system often blocks the promotion because it thinks you didn't purchase the watch from Xfinity. While standard support tools might not allow the promotion to be applied, I'd like to learn more about your situation and provide support.

The "Apple Watch Promotion" is indeed a scam. No amount of searching Xfinity on my desktop and via the Xfinity app reveals this alleged PROMO CODE for the $300 reward toward an Apple Smartwatch SE3!! It is a scam. I spent over an hr on live chat yesterday. Agent opened up a ticket for me to supposedly add this elusive Promo Code to my Platinum Membership Rewards. I got a reply text today from Xfinity about that ticket. It is now closed and there is NOT ANY $300 PROMO CODE in my rewards. A bunch of lies all around, and a long time w/Chat Assistant did nothing!

This is totally a scam and I strongly believe that they pushed this on customers to gain their services. I switched companies and on that same day got talked into buying two Apple Watches with the intention that one was free with the $300 off the second one. And here I am in march looking at my statement thinking why is my bill still higher than what I expected. Little did I know I’m paying for two Apple Watches and I never got the promotion. I called and they said they can do anything about it on there end that I should drive to the Xfinity store that I bought it from and they can maybe help me. It’s like you all work for the same company. Ver disappointed in this company.
