Was lied to about buyout
I was told xfinity would pay off my remaining balance(phone) in order for me to switch to them from Verizon. I specifically asked the rep if they were going to pay it off because I could not afford it at the moment they said yes they would take care of it and now I'm stuck with it. They raise my Internet bill so that way I could get the free line for a year now I'm stuck with a higher internet bill and outstanding balance at Verizon and I haven't even received my phone or phone line from Xfinity. Definitely feel like I was scam this is ridiculous not how you treat customers

Hello, @user_o1ntgg thank you for reaching out over Xfinity Forums. I completely understand where your coming from with the experience, and wanted to make sure I'm providing helpful information.
I've not seen a switch over promotion that pays off devices, or billing assist since last summer 25', and then the last month to upload the required documentation. Checking our Xfinity Mobile website There isn't a switch provider promotion, so wanted to confirm that with you. When placing an order, we do send an order approval that will break down all charges, and if any discounts such as prepaid cards (which is what was sent covering charges, during last years "switch" promotion).
- Did the order approval for the Xfinity Mobile outline any addtional promotions besides the free line or free line activation fee being waived (good through 3/23/26) ,which is what I see currently running besides some phone deals?
Regarding the inernet speed, the free line requires residential post-pay 300 Mbps internet or above. You mentioned you had to upgrade your internet, what speed where you on previously?
When did the order get placed for the Xfinty Mobile, it typically takes 48 hours to receive a device as long as it isn't back ordered?
We do have a 14 day return window once the device is received is received, so like to provide this as well.
