Deleted recordings

Phone service quit working

Hi, I recently (2 days ago) had Xfinity service installed, internet and voice. The internet service is working just fine. And at the time of install the voice was working too. I got around to wiring the phones into the modem yesterday afternoon, and was able to make and receive a couple test calls.

recording NEW episodes only

I want to record only new episodes from the current season of a show (Chicago Fire, FWIW). I have the DVR set to record new episodes only. However, some channel is scheduling and re-broadcasting old episodes from previous seasons, and my DVR is recording them as NEW. I have about 50 in my DVR!!
