@user_yw8z5o I'm not seeing that Xfinity DNS (75.75.75.75 anyway) is blocking access to your DNS. At least I can query their servers using Xfinity's. Maybe there is some other cloud edge issue. Something to try since you got a Netgear

Unable to ping
I do not have any difficulty to load websites, search with Google, and use the internet to stream video. However, I am unable to ping any DNS servers, including the primary and secondary DNS servers shown in my router. Those are 75.75.75.75 and 75.75.75.76. Neither can I ping Google DNS at 8.8.8.8.
Question
Hello and hope you are doing well! I am glad to hear you were able to get in by changing DNS servers, avi_83. That is certainly odd if you were unable to get in with the normal XFINITY DNS as I am able to. To be sure, 75.75.75.75 and 75.75.76.76 are

@user_e42164 so you bought a new router, but were unable to configure it for separate 2.4/5GHz networks? Did you put your XB8 in bridged mode? That would be essential to getting a third party router onto your local network.I have the XB7. And the se

It would take me hours to tell you all the stories and experiences from today, but the short of it is this: I bought a set of Wyze cameras. V3. They need to run like most systems on a 2.4 network. I tried today for 5 hours and at least 10 phone calls to make this work but now I'm left with a migrain

Mail domain is mistakenly blocked for spam.
I manage an e-mail server for a small business, and I now see that its domain is being blocked by Xfinity. If I try to send e-mail from my personal account from this domain to my home comcast.net account, I get an error response, that says in part: 5.1.0 192.225.170.83 Comcast block for spam. (in re

I agree with @EG , it's probably not an actual DNS issue. You can change the DNS servers pretty easily to verify: Google DNS Preferred: 8.8.8.8Alternate: 8.8.4.4 OpenDNS Preferred: 208.67.222.222Alternate: 208.67.220.220
Comcast DNS servers are dropping constantly (75.75.75.75 and 75.75.76.76) ... Revisited 2020

Nevermind, figured it out. Comcast DNS Servers decided to arbitrarily stop resolving Webex.com. Switch DNS Servers in your router (I used Google's) and you'll be unblocked.
WebEx won't work
Was there a solution for getting WebEx working when blocked by Comcast? Similar to https://forums.xfinity.com/conversations/search?q=webex, everything else is working fine... just WebEx doesn't want to work. No. That is regular Comcast DNS server queries / traffic on DNS port 53. Your firewall is being a hypochondriac in its announcements. It is doing its job.

Unable to connect to 2.4 network
I'm currently trying to set up a Ring 2 doorbell, which only connects to a 2.4 ghz frequency. When going through the setup, it couldn't see my network. I have an xfinity gateway (not a pod), and so I went and split the wifi signal to try and see if it could see it that way. I named the two networks
