How do I separate my 2.4 and 5GHz network
I DON'T WANT THE ROUTER TO DO IT FOR ME. I want to manage my own 2.4 and 5GHz networks. I don't care if the router thinks it can manage my network better. I want them separate for very specific reasons.
How do I break the networks apart. I used to be able to do it, now after a reset, I can't seem to set up my own separate networks.
Stop deciding for me and let me make my own decisions. If you won't this gets kicked to the curb and I will find another provider and I will put in my own equipment.

Interesting comcast gotch-ya again. About 2-3 weeks ago my 2.5 gig wireless network was having issues of no internet. I was using the modem 1 version back, black square tower and now am on the newest white square tower. Sometimes the 2.4 GIG worked but other times not. The 5.0 GIG network was always fine. Most newer devices use the 5.0 gig so no issue. If your devices use 2.4 gig then you may notice issues with it. Comcast is moving to not have multiple multiple access points. Just one and they manage all connections into the router. They downloaded an update a few weeks ago toward that goal. With that update you have to configure for 1 access point (Both 2.4G and 5G access points have the same name.) otherwise the 2.4 access is not reliable. All that took 2 hours on the phone with 2 reps and a 2 hour visit from a service tech today.
