Xfinity router's USB ports

My Xfinity router has 2 USB ports. When I insert my thumb drive into either of them my PC cannot view the files on it. How can I use view my files on my thumb drive? FYI, I am running Windows 10 Pro. Thank you, Dan

USB Wireless Adapter can't see Network

I just swapped out the older xfi gateway with the new xfi gateway (Arris TG4482A). All of my devices had no problem reconnecting to the network except for a desktop with a Belkin wireless USB adapter.  It can see my neighbors networks, but not mine, it doesn't show as an available network.&nbs

Check to make sure you have the latest firmware for your tv. If it says no update available, check the Samsung web site. Sometimes there are later versions you can download and install via USB.

Ethernet vs coax cable

Hello,when my house was built, the electrician put in Ethernet jacks in the living room, but not coaxial jacks. We can only use the Xi6 WiFi boxes because of this. My question is this:  if TV is internet based, couldn't the X1 Box be hooked up to Ethernet cord and not a coax cable?

Personally, i would consider getting a Usb wifi high speed adapter, they are under $15, it would give you access to the 5 g band, much faster speeds, it should connect easily to the new gateway
