Charged While On Seasonal Hold

Back on December 28 2025 I called Comcast and explained that I would be moving out of my current address but would not be moving into my new place until June of 2026 and asked what I should do about my cable. The lady said I should go to this link and request a seasonal on hold till that time. So that's what I did. Easy. Great!

Flash forward to a few days ago and I see that Comcast is getting ready to charge me for March at the normal price. I go look online at my payment history and see the following:

no transaction amount for January

paid 32.11 in February

paid 494.13 in March (which is wildly over the amount that I would normally pay)

scheduled to pay 364.15 in April.

Called Comcast. Spent an hour on the phone (see call 1) and the man who said his name was Lee said that he "got approval" to go ahead and refund me the amount paid between Jan & now. Well Lee was a liar because the next day all I got was an email from Xfinity welcoming to the Seasonal Hold program for two months, May & June!

Called Comcast again (call 2) and explained my problem and she said that a supervisor would call me back within the hour. This never happened. I have these calls recorded.

I'm not the only one who has had this issue. It happens a LOT:

I have been a comcast customer since June of 1995 and have never had a company outright lie so blatantly and be so unwilling to fix THEIR mistake. I should have just cancelled the service if I had known all this would happen. It is absolutely horrible.
