I've followed the instructions of going to the Xfinity Assistant. The banner is still not showing up. When I tried to speak with an agent, I was told there were no agents available. What else can I do to activate the banner?

Hi there, @Cleavo77 Thank you so much for your time and patience. I understand how frustrating this is not to be able to activate the Peacock offer. We currently have fix teams that are currently working on the issue as we speak, at this time we unfortunately, do not have an estimated time when it will be fixed. We currently do not have a workaround beyond what you already tried.-Richard

Dear Support,

How do I activate the free peacock premium service that ended yesterday June 26?  I have gigabyte internet service and was told I would get it for free for 2 years starting today.  I have logged into my account but I cannot find the page I need to navigate to in order to activate peacock premium.

Hello! Thank you for using our community and making this post, you are asking a great question @patmoore007. If you have Gigabit internet speeds with us, you can receive Peacock Premium at no additional cost for two years. No action is required if you’ve previously linked your Peacock account with your X1 or Flex service. If you haven't done this step already, you’ll need to sign in to xfinity.com/chat to activate Peacock. After two years, Peacock Premium will terminate unless you elect to continue receiving the service. Please let us know if this helps or if you have any other questions or concerns we can assist you with!

This issue is still not resolved. I had my Peacock account linked prior to your blunder of this update. Yet I no longer have access to Peacock even though I'm on a Gigabit Plus plan and should retain this service for "no additional charge".

@patmoore007​ Have you tried logging in to Peacock to see if you have an active subscription?
I read that "no action was required" for customers that qualify because of their gig-speed:
"Your gig-speed internet from Xfinity now includes Peacock Premium at no extra cost for two years...No action is required"

Platinum member here. I'm having the same issue as everyone else. I contacted support, and they were unfortunately useless. I gave up after 30 minutes of trying to explain the issue. I'm including the chat transcript below. Unbelievable.

I am also a platinum rewards member, and when I click rewards it says that this offer is not available to me at this time. There is no banner in my account nor is there anything in the Xfinity assistant. And when I go to peacock to check my subscription it doesn't even give me a 299 option like most people are getting it's saying 499 so I don't know what's going on but has a gig speed customer this needs to be fixed soon because this is ridiculous.

Same issue here.  Platinum rewards member and gigabit internet subscriber.   Rewards shows that I claimed the offer for free premium, but can't get to a banner through my account or assistant.  Current agent queue for me is 367.

Once again - I'll state that my Peacock Premium is no longer valid despite having a Gigabit Plus plan that was linked to my Peacock account prior to the "update". No links anywhere - chat has been useless so far. No instruction or anything. 

All I've done is waste time.

I may have missed it.. But I have two free options.  Gig user I can get 2 years.  And as a Diamond Rewards it seems it is perpetual.
I cannot get a clear answer from support.  They are clueless and just keep saying "Please go to peacocktv.com and login with Xfinity login credentials then sign up for the annual peacock subscription."

I want an answer on the length of Diamond Reward...

I’m enrolled in Xfinity Rewards as a Diamond or Platinum member. How do I get access to Peacock Premium?
Xfinity Rewards Diamond and Platinum members with Xfinity Internet can redeem a special offer for Peacock Premium at no additional cost from the Xfinity Rewards website. You must be enrolled in Xfinity Rewards to take advantage of the offer. You’ll then receive an email with instructions on how to activate your offer.
Note: It may take a couple hours to receive the email.

Once the offer is activated, you’ll continue to have access to Peacock Premium as long as you remain enrolled in Xfinity Rewards as a Diamond or Platinum member with Xfinity Internet.

I was able to get it.  I went thru my Diamond Rewards route.  I did get an email.  I was able to do it, but I could not do it thru the app and on my android phone.  And I had to use another browser besides Edge as I was getting weird issues with authentication and accessing Xfinity.  God, once the website fully retires this is not going to be fun.  The app has been nothing but issues since day 1.  Anyways, I activated and did not cancel my account prior as the steps in the email did not say to do this, though their Help\FAQ page does say to do this..

Follow these simple steps to activate your reward:
1. Sign into Xfinity Assistant and click Activate Now on the Peacock banner. This will redirect you to Peacock's website.
2. If you had a Peacock account, enter your existing email and password. If not, sign up with your email address.
3. Click the Log In button, follow the prompts, and that's it! Your Peacock Premium is now activated.

I had my internet cut off by a "floor supervisor" because he refused to transfer me to someone who could actually help me. He claimed that "ALL" customers had to pay now. I had to correct him about Gigabit customers continuing to receive it for free. He kept telling me to got to Peacock and sign up. 

Like seriously - this whole thing is just ridiculous. Then to cut off my internet because I called you out on it....

I do not have a banner saying activate now on xfinity.com or xfinity assistant. I pay for a gig of internet and am entitled to two years of Peacock premium for free. This is obviously an issue. Why isn’t Xfinity addressing it already!!!

@user_3d865c this is a known issue that’s still being worked on. I'm sorry you can't see the banner in the Xfinity Assistant. Check back periodically for a resolution. We are doing all we can to resolve the issue.

If you’re not seeing an activation banner on xfinity.com/account, please go to Xfinity Assistant and select Sign In. The activation banner should appear at the top of the chat and should work once you click it. Do you have a screen shot of the above "Sign In".   Is this a button or are we supposed to type in "Sign in" and click enter in the chat window?   I'm not seeing a button that says "Sign in".   Please provide an image showing the above as i'm sure others have the same issue.

Once you click the link that takes you to the Xfinity Assistant, you'll want to select the icon that is furthest to the right at the top of the screen (this is the account icon), at which time you should see a button to click that says "Sign In."
