Peacock premium activation on gigabyte internet service

Dear Support,

How do I activate the free peacock premium service that ended yesterday June 26?  I have gigabyte internet service and was told I would get it for free for 2 years starting today.  I have logged into my account but I cannot find the page I need to navigate to in order to activate peacock premium.

Hello! Thank you for using our community and making this post, you are asking a great question @patmoore007. If you have Gigabit internet speeds with us, you can receive Peacock Premium at no additional cost for two years. No action is required if you’ve previously linked your Peacock account with your X1 or Flex service. If you haven't done this step already, you’ll need to sign in to xfinity.com/chat to activate Peacock. After two years, Peacock Premium will terminate unless you elect to continue receiving the service. Please let us know if this helps or if you have any other questions or concerns we can assist you with!

@XfinityKatie​ have the same issue and got nowhere with chat. My account went inactive yesterday and am now prompted to pay $2.99 a month to reactivate.

Clearly some action is required! This should have been resolved before the 26th.

This issue is still not resolved. I had my Peacock account linked prior to your blunder of this update. Yet I no longer have access to Peacock even though I'm on a Gigabit Plus plan and should retain this service for "no additional charge".

Thank you for the quick reply.  I just went to xfinity.com/chat and logged in.  What do I do now on this page in order to activate Peacock?

@patmoore007​ Have you tried logging in to Peacock to see if you have an active subscription?
I read that "no action was required" for customers that qualify because of their gig-speed:
"Your gig-speed internet from Xfinity now includes Peacock Premium at no extra cost for two years...No action is required"

If you didn't already link your account previously, there should be a banner that pops up to help with the activation. However, we are aware some customers are having difficulty activating their Peacock account. If you’re not seeing an activation banner on xfinity.com/chat or xfinity.com/account, please go to Xfinity Assistant and select Sign In. The activation banner should appear at the top of the chat and should work once you click it. We apologize for any inconvenience, and thank you for being an Xfinity customer.
