The PoE MoCA filter has to be installed on the input port of the first splitter off of the drop line coming directly from the street, not between the gateway and the wall outlet. Also, check to see if there are any non-MoCA compliant splitters (5-1

MoCA

I have some cable inlets in my bedrooms, and I'd like to use one to connect my PC to Ethernet instead of wireless, but I don't want cables running from room to room. So, I bought a MoCA adapter and filter. https://a.co/d/1rGmnia and https://a.co/d/0JI6Hfb . My main cable inlet is in the living room.

Question

I enabled the moca setting but the adapter is not connecting.  Having trouble logging in to the adapter itself as well.  Any suggestions?

I suspect somehow it is getting mixed up w

Ok @EG and @XfinityFrank , I thought I was looking a 3db attenuator because of a hard-to-read engraving with "3" on it — but I was wrong. Actually, I now realize it is instead just a an integrated integrated MoCA PoE filter/ground block. So, it

Is it though? Judging from this, it appears MoCA is the only option for additional wired Internet entrypoint without dealing with Comcast's greed/bog-level service.
