Hello @user_3236e2 I am sorry that didn't work for you. Can you tell me how many devices that you have tried to use to log in to the Apple TV? Have you tried clearing the cache and cookies from your online device?

I get through the login screen, scan the QR code, login in on my device through apples two party authentication, the TV refreshes then says I have been logged out and need to login again despite still being logged in on my phone. I have tried several times with QR code and several times with letter code. Any advice would be great. Using Xfinity box, and internet.
Thanks for taking the time to reach out to us regarding your issues with the Apple TV app. I am so sorry to hear that you are having trouble using this app on your X1 device. Have you attempted to log in using any other device? If so what was the result? Also, have you attempted to log in using other methods other than the QR code?
I'm having the same issue. I tried the QR code and the 4 digit code on the website. In both cases it asks me to sign in. I can open apple TV on my computer. Also on the smart TV if I don't go through the cable box.
@XfinityMichelle I am having the same issue. I tried the QR code and the 4 digit code on the website. In both cases it asks me to sign in. I can open apple TV on my computer. Also on the smart TV if I don't go through the cable box. I called xfinity twice. The first time they told me I needed to update my cable box. I went to the store and they gave me the exact same box.!? I called again they said they needed to send a code to the box. Neither of these "solutions" worked.
Can login to apple tv on my phone and my laptop but when trying to do so on xfinity it gives me activation code and when I activate it on my phone xfinity will go thru the motions of signing me in and then just tells me that I have signed out and just stays in that loop.
We apologize for the experience you are having with the Apple TV app on your X1 device. Would you mind providing a image of what you are experiencing or additional information as to what you see when in the Apple TV app on X1?
I am also experiencing this issue; once you follow all the prompts. It brings you to a screen that states “ you were signed out of Apple TV app. Enter the password for Apple ID p******** [Edited: "Personal Information"] to sign in again.” With the options sign in or cancel. I have repeated this step multiple times and followed the recommendation of going to Apple tv to update any terms or conditions.
Ditto. Same issue here. For months now. When is someone going to actually care enough to get this fixed? Hundreds of $$$ every month and this app still doesn't work.
@user_451dcb I apologize for the issues you've encountered with the looping error, are you able to sign in with your phone and computer as well, but having trouble on the Xfinity App, or is the looping error encountered on all devices for you?
Problems started after a power outage. Yesterday all worked well. Today after my Xfinity DVR rebooted, I can’t log in to the Apple TV app. I get through the login screen, scan the QR code, login in on my device, the TV refreshes then says I have been logged out and need to login again despite still being logged in on my phone. I have tried several times with QR code and several times with letter code. Any advice would be great. Using Xfinity DVR box, and internet.
Hello @user_c81e58 Thank you for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear that you are having this issue. Have you tried using a different device? Is the issue still present?
I am having the same problem on two compatible boxes. It worked fine for the first month but now am stuck in loop. Any recent suggestions from Xfinity?
Hello @user_333340, and thank you for sharing your experience. I wanted to follow up and thank you all for your feedback and bringing this to our attention. I was able to investigate this a little deeper and confirmed our engineers are aware of this, and are actively working to get this resolved. At this time, the issue has been resolved for some, but others are reporting they are still having the same problem. Can you confirm if this has been resolved for you?

Use an Amazon fire stick connected to another HDMI port on your television that works way better than Comcast anyway
