Peacock Premium activation

I’m an Xfinity Diamond customer, and was informed I qualified for free Peacock Premium. 
I selected it, and rec’d a message that I’d be sent an email with activation details. 
That was yesterday. I’ve heard/read nothing more. 
Please advise.

@ursa-minor  Thanks for posting and checking for the next steps. It has a ton of content, and we're happy to see you take advantage of the subscription. Customers need to follow the steps for the level of service they have here https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/peacock-subscription-faqs. The steps are specific to each level of service, so be sure to follow the correct one to start enjoying the shows and movies asap!  

For Xfinity Diamond Reward members that ware awaiting the next steps, check your spam folders, or follow the steps below. 

1 Go to https://www.xfinity.com/xfinityassistant/ and sign in. 
2 Click "Activate Now" on banner that states "Your Peacock subscription is ready for activation".
3 That will take you to the Peacock website to continue activation.
4 Enter email and password you want associated with the Peacock account.

@XfinityBenny​ any "resolution" to this issue. I claimed the reward on 6/26 and received the email. Going to the Xfinity Asst, there is no activation banner but I still see it as a claimed reward. Countless chats, phone calls, forum posts, and nothing!!!!

@taylorjm28 Thank you so much for letting us know you are having an issue after you redeemed your offer. Since the online account is showing you redeemed the offer that is great especially if you received the email after you redeemed your Peacock offer. When you check out the email your received after it has additional steps needed to complete your redemption and link it to the offer on your account. What happens when you attempt to follow the steps contained in the email you received after you redeemed your offer?

I did #1. 
Tried #2, but THERE WAS NO “Activate Now” BANNER ON THE PAGE AFTER I SIGNED IN. 
I try to log in from the Xfinity menu on TV, but it just displays the QR code, and it’s useless. 

It’s a Moebius loop of useless leads.

@ursa-minor Thanks for using the steps! Try the steps for Diamond members again, but with a different device. If you have a laptop, see if you can download the Xfinity Assistant, in order to see the activation banner :).

I never received any email after I redeemed my Peacock offer.

I’ve tried everything you suggested. Nothing works. 

Just dig into my account and activate me. Your instructions have clearly be useless, not only to me, but others as well.

@ursa-minor thank you for getting back to us and letting us know you are still running into issues. We definitley want to ensure that this is resolved for you so you can enjoy this offer ASAP! We don't have a way on our end to activate this, but our rewards team has worked hard to implement a fix for this to ensure all of our customers can activate this properly. You mentioned that you never got a confirmation of the redeemed offer, do you still see Peacock Premium as something you can redeem? If so, have you tried redeeming it again?

 

When was the last time you attempted the steps to activate the offer? If it has been less than 24 hours, please give these steps a try again to see if it is working:

 

1. Log in to your account on xfinity.com, then open Xfinity Assistant: xfinity.com/xfinityassistant
2. Click Activate Now on the banner that states, "Your Peacock subscription is ready for activation." If you don't see the banner, try typing in "Peacock Premium Activation".
3. You will be redirected to Peacock, so you will want to finish activation on the Peacock site.
Note: You must use the primary email address associated with your Xfinity ID to redeem this Peacock offer. If you use another email address, the system won’t recognize the offer as valid. 

 

After activating in the Xfinity Assistant or if the banner doesn't appear, please check the Peacock site to ensure your account isn't already set up. You can do that by doing the following:

 

1. Visit https://www.peacocktv.com/ and click “Sign In” 
2. Enter the email address and password associated with your Peacock account (this may be the same login as Xfinity, it may not be. If you have multiple email addresses, I would try them all. You can also select “I don’t know my password” if necessary.)
3. After signing in, you will be able to confirm if you have access to the site. (You can do additional double-checks on account as well by clicking “Account,” navigating to “Plans & Payment”, and confirming monthly charges = $0.00)

 

If this continued to fail, please ensure that your account is not past due as you will not be able to properly redeem/activate the offer if you are past due. If you are able to rule everything else out, please send our team a direct message with your full name and address along with the exact step that failed and we will ensure everything with your account is set up correctly for the activation!

I'm Gold Xfinity member & have been trying to activate my Peacock account for months and just saw this forum. 

I don't understand why Xfinity wouldn't resolve this re-occurring issue that many are experiencing.   

I created my Peacock account, told it's included, yet it wants me to add payment information or promo code.  I have not received a promo code in my email and the virtual assistant is useless.

I did it!   (Do not wait for an email or banner from Xfinity!  I repeat: DO NOT WAIT FOR AN EMAIL or BANNER from XFINITY!)

I read this forum and a few posts down the Xfinity rep said to go to:

I went there and was able to decipher the following steps and I was able to activate my free Peacock TV acct via Xfinity.

Why Xfinity could not just post these steps for us - I have no idea! 

1. Open new browser window and sign-into: https://www.xfinity.com/rewards

with your existing Xfinity log-in UN & PW.

2. Scroll down and claim your Peacock TV reward on Xfinity Rewards. 

3.  Open a new browser window and go to: https://peacocktv.com

3a.  If you DO already have a Peacock account - be sure to log into PeacockTV and cancel your paid subscription.  Then LOG OUT of PeacockTV. 

3b. If you DO NOT already have a PeacockTV account - Open one.  You DO NOT have to use same email address or password as you use for Xfinity.  PeacockTV UN & PW can be totally different from Xfinity. 

3b1. DO NOT CHOOSE A SUBSCRIPTION PLAN.

3c.After you are logged out of PeacockTV - STOP!  Continue to follow steps below. 

4. Go back to your original Xfinity Rewards browser window (or open a new window) and navigate to:  https://www.xfinity.com/chat/

5. In Xfinity Chat (you're not really going to chat 🤷) ... Click on "Sign In" square icon in upper right.

5a. If you're already signed in - sign out.  (Don't ask me!  Makes absolutely no sense - just do it lol)

6. In same Xfinity Chat browser window  - using same square sign-in icon in upper right - Sign back into Xfinity with your original Xfinity UN & PW. (🤷)

7. This will take you to a new screen. 

7a. On this new screen, click on: Move to New Address.  (I have no idea why we are moving to a new address - found it by trial & error - just do it 🙄).

8. If it is a lucky day for you - You should scroll down and see a banner that reads,  "Activate your Peacock TV Xfinity Reward Now" . 🤞🤞

9. If banner is there - Click on it:  "Activate your Peacock TV Xfinity Reward Now". 

9a. You SHOULD be transferred to www.peacock.com

9b. If banner not there - I can't help you - sorry - you're SOL for this post 🤷.

10.  If you have made it to  www.peacock.com (9a above) by following the steps above .... 

10a. Click on "Sign In" in the center at the top of page.  Sign into Peacock TV with the UN & PW you used in #2 above.

10b. DO NOT click on REGISTER. This will make you choose a paid subscription.

This SHOULD DO IT!

I still do not have it and have given up on ever getting it. I paid for 3 months just to watch Michigan football and when I complained to the FCC, Xfinity responded with we see that he has Peacock!! They never resolved anything or communicated with me on anything. Total incompetence on all levels at Xfinity!!

If you’re not seeing an activation banner on xfinity.com/account, please go to Xfinity Assistant and select Sign In. The activation banner should appear at the top of the chat and should work once you click it. Hey, @user_5n9u19 - Thank you for leaving a comment with your shared concerns. We've made some recent changes, and there's a new activation link at xfinity.com/activate-peacock. Please visit that link and sign in with your Xfinity ID and password. From there, select the "Activate Peacock" button, and you should be directed to peacocktv.com. That's where you'll enter an email address and password for your Peacock account. We still have the option to activate your offer through a banner displayed in the Xfinity Assistant, but we recommend trying this other method first. Please let me know if this helps, or if you continue to run into any issues. Thank you!

I have been having the same problem and if you read through all these posts they all say the same thing xfinity support is useless problem never gets resolved I over the last two days have talked 8 different support people who kept me on the line first time for EIGHTY minutes and next day for another SEVENTY minutes with no resolution was told my case was sent up to specialist who would call me back LOL have been with Comcast for over 30 years and have never been called back a total joke

I've been trying to activate Peacock since June of last summer.  I've spent no less than 50 hours trying to activate it. I should have it free through Diamond rewards and/or because of my internet tier but no one has been able to help me activate it.  There is no Peacock offer in my Rewards.

- Visit xfinity.com/activate-peacock and sign in with their Xfinity ID and password.

- Enter an email address and password for their Peacock account.

@user_jjpavv​ I finally figured out how to get it activated. You see, the problem a lot of us have is looking the deal to our preexisting peacock subscription. You have to cancel it and wait for your peacock subscription to expire and then activate the offer. I too have spent hours trying to make it easy, but this was the only way that worked.

I was on the phone with xfinity for almost 2 hours in the last 2 days. I cannot access my peacock account. They told me it was activated and we should have it but it keep getting the screen to subscribe. Very frustrated.

Do you already have a peacock account at the moment? I would suggest you cancel it, wait for it to expire, and then attempt to redeem the offer. I just did it, and after months I have finally figured it out!

I received the diamond level offer for peacock premium and never received an email or code. How do I watch peacock?  Can I have it on my tablet?  Or just the tv?

Hello @PamFon we definitley want to ensure that you can take advantage of the Peacock Premium offer! Once you have redeemed Peacock Premium via Xfinity Rewards, you need to activate and link the offer to your Peacock account. The easiest way to do this is to use our Peacock Premium Activation Link. Once you have the offer linked to your Peacock account, you can then use the login details to sign into Peacock on any eligible device to watch and enjoy for your TV, Phone, Tablet, and more! @PamFon did you already go through the process of redeeming the Peacock Premium offer directly in your Xfinity Rewards? While all Diamond and Platinum customers are eligible for Peacock Premium, you do have to first redeem the offer to use it. Once you've redeemed the offer, then you should be able to use the link provided to activate the offer.
