I just encountered error code TVAPP-00148 on the Xfinity Stream app on my Samsung TV. Worked fine for prior 6 months. App streams fine on other devices and tvs. Tried turning off/on tv and deleting/installing app on Samsung tv.

Video cannot be displayed. Error TVAPP-00148. Samsung model 2021 and app reinstalled several times. This error is on all live tv channels

@Xfinity Support is there an expected timeline to fix this bug? I’ve been without live tv for 3 days. Will our service fees be prorated?

It’s been 3 days since Xfinity updated the app and made it so Samsung tv owners can’t watch live tv. There’s never problems with other apps. [Edit: Inflammatory Remarks]

I have been unable to watch live tv on my newer Samsung since 1/17/24. I can see in the forum that xfinity is aware of the issue, I am wondering if I will be getting a refund on my account since I’ve been unable to watch live tv for one week.

What a joke I filed theough fcc and comcast calls me and has no idea about this even though 14k people have a problem. [Edited: "Inflammatory"]. Call me when they know they have a problem and resolution.

This error is non stop. Everyday. You pay $190 a month for a service that does not work. I have complained about it before and nothing happens. I even tried to get rid of cable because of it, but only new customers can have internet only. So here I am paying $190 a month for a service that doesn’t work. This is absurd.

Been having this issues for the past two weeks showing this error of not being able to play.. uninstall the app reinstall the app and it still doesn’t work. This is ridiculous..

When is this going to get resolved on being able to view the Xfinity stream App on Samsung TV. Xfinity Stream APP not working on my Samsung TV. Menu pops up but when I select channel getting error code : TVAPP-00148. After spending over hour with tech and deleting app, reinstalling app, resetting password, resetting router still have same code. Waiting on tech to get back to me. The App works on my phone and Roku/firesticks

I cannot use the newest release of the Xfinity Stream app on my Samsung TV. This release is causing an error for ALL live channels which prevents them from being able to play and gives an error of TVAPP-00148. I know this has been reported before and your response was that your 'engineers' (what a joke) are working on it.
1 - where is the quality control and testing for this app prior to it being forced on the users?
2 - Rather than making us not be able to use the Xfinity Stream app why do you not just restore the prior version?
3 - Can your so called engineers kindly perform some quality testing before they force their broken code on the end users?
I work on technical projects as a TRUE Engineer (Technical Architect actually). My clients would demand that I resolve a problem such as this within 24 hours or less IF I ever caused a problem like this.

I have been getting error: cap-00148 on my tv for a week now. I have tried everything to get it to work. They even sent someone out to fix it and no luck. Yall really need to fix this problem.

Day 6. No Xfinity streaming app. Was assured that the app would be working by Feb 6th. Disappointed with customer non service too.
