DVR & TV Issue
Xfinity recently removed the filter option that allowed DVR recordings to be separated by TV or device. Now, each DVR/TV shows its own recordings, but on my TV, I see all recordings from every device in the house. I now have to scroll through 30–40 recordings from other TVs. How can I set it so that only my recordings appear on my TV?

Howdy user_unucwu, we do have some filtering options for the in home DVR functionality. I included those options here below.

This change made by xfinity is extremely restrictive and extremely frustrating. I have been able to view my recordings from any device in the past and it is inconvenient to think that I can only watch them from the tv attached to the dvr. Why???

The point is to give us even less services while simultaneously raising rates, it's Comcast/Xfinitys entire business model.

Yes, please return the filter. My parents are in my in-law & they record a lot of shows so we have to scroll through all of them to see our stuff on all other boxes.

My DVR issue started a few weeks ago and I was told by Xfinity at first it was a well known issue and it would be repaired within a week. I called back and I was told it would take a little longer to fix. I called back again and they had no idea what I was talking about. Instead, they claimed there had to be something wrong with my DVRs and then I was transferred to the tech department only to be disconnected. Today I read your post so I called them back to confront them to see if they would own up to the truth. I was told the truth and the more people complain about the change, then they might change it back the way it was. Should have known this would be their answer, typical, they tell you want they want you to hear, doubt that they'ld follow through with it.
