Watchathon Not Available to Everyone?

Why is this year's Watchathon Event only available to X1 customers? I look forward to this every year. I have even subscribed to premium channels after being given the opportunity to see what they have to offer.

Check On Demand. Free previews and Watchathon content only appear there and through streaming, not on the numbered channels on a TV box.

I also don't have X1 (I think, not sure). If I bring up my On Demand menu, there used to be a "watchathon" choice. So far this morning, there isn't a choice like that. Where do we find if we're not on X1?
