slow cable box

Have a flex box on my primary TV and it works fine, but the secondary (not flex box) in another room is terribly slow. For example when choosing an app (MAX), it takes over 3 minutes for it to load and even respond. Is this box outdated or what could be the problem.

yes, tried to reset it...etc.... no difference.

Thank you for the update on this @gcto1 we'll ensure we get this figured out for you! Can you confirm what model TV box you are having issues with running slower? There should be a sticker on the back of the box that has the model number, or you can also view your equipment information on your account online. This helps us determine the next best steps for troubleshooting.

it's and XG2v2-S  secondary box.  Flex box on main TV works fine

@gcto1 There are updated boxes that can replace the current Xg2 that you currently have. It would depend on preference and whether your need 2 physical DVR boxes. I would recommend if you have not done so, completely power down the box by unplugging the power from the wall outlet for about a minute. Once powered back on see if it is running better for you.
