Get rid of thank you for being our loyal customer message

I need to get rid of the “Thank you for being our loyal customer” message on my screen every hour or so. I have tried everything I can think of to get rid of it but it keeps coming back.

The message is very annoying, why isn’t Comcast/Xfinity responding?

I think I fixed it, thanks to a suggestion by another poster. If you have a Samsung TV, go to your network connections for your tv (not your cable box). Disconnect your tv from your network. Wait a minute or two and reconnect to the network(be sure you know or can retrieve your network password). My TV requested it to reconnect to my network. This worked for me. I hope it works for you.

Update…after a much longer time than usual, the message popped up again. Maybe they will be less often, maybe not. I really wish somebody from Xfinity would chime in here and help!!

If TV is a Samsung and the message mentions "Smart Hub Privacy Notice" it's coming from Samsung, not Comcast/Xfinity. See https://forums.xfinity.com/conversations/x1/pop-up-messages-on-x1/67bfaf7b04f4cf33962fa9af. You'll need to work with Samsung to find out how to eliminate it.

Thanks for the replies. The message pops up in the upper right corner of the screen. After a few actions suggested here, I’m seeing it much less often. I haven’t seen it at all today. If it returns, I guess a message to Samsung is in order. Thanks for the help.
