Cable card problems
I own 2 tivos a bolt and roamio lost HD channels on both of the October 3 or 4 th. TiVo guide is correct but channels are all over the place 1008 should be ABC but is channel 1003 CBS a lot of channels are V 53 and cannot find most of my channels. I still have the lower channel numbers are correct. Have spent hours on the phone with Comcast had a Comcast guy came in for almost 2 hours said he would look into it. Never heard back from him. I keep talking to the Phillipines nice people but do not understand my problem. Is there someone in the software technical dept iin th US that can help. I talked to TIVO they want a current guide list to check the problem out.I cannot get one from anyone. I don’t think it’s a tivo problem since the guide is right and both my tivos are doing the same crazy channels.
I have had this problem over a month and many hours waiting on the phone and getting disconnected waiting for a supervisor. I read something on a tivo forum that says the pairing could be incorrect on the conditional access page. Can someone please help to get this fixed they were both working fine before something happened that day. My other cable tvs are working correctly with the cable boxes.

Hey @jpgredwine so sorry to hear those TiVOs are acting up and these channels are on the fritz. When the tech came by, did we re-pair the cable cards? We do have a forum Xpert thread that may help with doing this

Note that the pairing link given on that page is not accessible to customers, and has not been accessible for many years.
"activatecablecard.xfinity.com" --> "cablecardactivation.xsp.comcast.net" --> private IP 10.54.190.246, which may be reachable for those with access to Comcast's private network, but not to anyone on the public Internet.
If there is a publicly accessible site the article should be corrected. If there is not, that link and the "do-it-yourself" verbiage should be deleted from the article.
https://cablecardactivation.xsp.comcast.net appears to be working again as of 3-10-2024.
