Hey @user_ss9jor , Thank you for visiting our official Xfinity Forums Community support page. We greatly appreciate you taking the time to reach out regarding your phone line. I would be more than happy to offer my assistance looking into this further for you. Have you power cycled the modem? If the phone number is called is there a message or straight to voicemail?
@XfinityJanelle I just updated my old Xfinity Modem to the new Gateway (white) and am having the same issue, no landline dialtone. Before you ask everything worked well for about a decade. No changes or upgrades except for the new Gateway. The phone jack is plugged into 1. I tried the other ports just for the heck of it. Should I wait for "provisioning"? I'm disappointed Xfinity knows this is a known issue with voice customers but does nothing to tell them or help curtail the issue.
@user_qusanb are you still having issues with your Xfinity Voice service?

I'm having the same problem. After working for months, I get no dial tone and incoming calls go directly to voice mail. I called for Troubleshooting and keep getting the same message my "modem is resetting, wait 10 minutes and Tech Support will get back to me". That 10 minutes has been going on for the better part of a day. I attempted to cancel voice service and was advise I could not until my modem finishes resetting. I guess that means I can never cancel a voice service I cannot use. Anyone?

Did you solve the issue? I'm having the same one. Everything worked well for a decade. Upgraded to a Gateway Router and now landline won't work.
