Comcast.net Email Migration

I cannot get my p****@comcast.net email migration to the new Yahoo mail.  I need help please.  Can I speak to someone that can help me with this as I must continue to use my same email address as it is tied to all of my personal accounts.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Hi there! Thanks for taking the time to post. Our team is happy to help! Can you tell us what steps you have taken so far and the issues you are running into?

I kept clicking on the link provided in my email message, however, I always would receive the error message stating "Oops page not found" so I stopped trying as I feared that the email message that I received was not a valid message from Comcast.  This process has been extremely frustrating.  I would really appreciate a phone call from a human that can walk me through the process as I absolutely cannot lose my comcast.net email address.

We're glad to take a closer look at this for you.  So that we can get started, please feel free to shoot us a private message with your details, and we can get started on this for you right away.

To send a "direct message" / "private message" message to Xfinity Support:

 • Click "Sign In" if necessary

 • Click the "Direct Message" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

 • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

 • The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

 • As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

 • An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

 • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

 • Press Enter to send

... it takes me to 'ecru.ru.com' where it asks me to enter user name and password

That would be a scammer site. Do not enter and do not give any information!

So I should just wait for an official Xfinity note to start migration to Yahoo hosting

So what will the migration email look like or be from? I have a message from [Edited: "Personal Information"]. It includes a link (click here to update your mailbox). Actually the email looks a little sketchy. How will I know when I have the REAL email for migration?

That is great question, @user_gp9chu! The email will be letting you know that your email is ready to be migrated over, and will have the instructions to log in to Yahoo Mail directly. You can find all the details with the migration, it can be found here
