Peacock Subscription Activations

Got the official email yesterday and it does not work. Xfinity get ready for the BBB complaint if you do not fix it by Monday.

Just dug out my flex box and hooked it up - followed the directions on the link above "Manage Your Peacock Subscription on Xfinity" Settings - Apps & Subscription - says I have no apps even though I am a rewards customer with free Peacock.
Does anybody actually test what your telling people to do before you post it?

I have been getting emailed repeatedly to Activate Peacock Premium, but the links never work. Multiple chat sessions with Customer Service have been complete wastes of time with no resolution.
According to the NOW TV overview page, I should see a banner on the Xfinity page that looks like this:
But I don't see that. Instead, a banner announcing that the "My Account" app is going away (or has gone away) sits in its place.
I also have the option to get Peacock Premium as a Diamond Rewards member. You would think with two possible paths to redeem, one of them would work. No such luck.
If anyone has found a path through this mess, please advise.

I was able finally to "activate" on the xfinity.com/assistant screen, and I actually got an icon in the rewards area for activation of Peacock Premium.... how I got there I've no idea....but it doesn't work.... my tv shows I have Peacock, but not Premium, and every time I navigate to the Peacock channel, I get a message at the bottom to activate my email, and all the premium selections require a subscription. I can sometimes get back to the Xfinity Rewards page and it indicates that I've activated the premium option... No second chances I guess....

It has been 3 weeks! I've called, chatted, even sent messages to Twitter and still NOTHING! Never had a banner with the option to activate. When I login to Peacock, it says I have no subscription. Finally ( I thought) I spoke with someone on Monday that spoke English and promised that it'd be resolved in 24-48 hours and a repair ticket was entered. No such ticket was entered in the previous 3 weeks??? I just received a call obviously from a call center and she informed me that they've received the ticket and will be resolving it.....you guessed it....in 24-48 hours. I will be purchasing Peacock and deducting the amount from my Comcast bill payments.
Why be a loyal customer since before Comcast even existed to be treated like this. Diamond Reward member.....means NOTHING! Comcast proves that customer service is dead.

I have gig service and cannot reactivate Peacock. The link isn’t there in Assistant. Waited for chat yesterday for an hour. Rep said they couldn’t help and they were working on the problem. Unbelievable that our access is gone for nearly a month.

There have been several recent posts on this thread from comcast reps saying they believe the issue has been resolved. They are wrong. Comcast seems to screw up every time they roll something out. I've been with them for close to 30 years, and this happens every time.

What do you know, I finally got the activation link. But then Peacock said I couldn't redeem because I have a subscription. I already canceled that, but apparently it won't cancel until later this month. So, I'll give it a try then. Good luck everyone.

This whole thing is a farce. I finally thought I was getting somewhere with it after seeing the actual reward on my page. Go to redeem it and says to wait 10 minutes then go to the assistant where I should see the phantom activation banner, no banner. So ridiculous and this is why I steer clear of these so called rewards, you get rewarded with a headache. Don’t push out something until it works.

Okay, just received bill for next month and it actually states:

At No Extra Cost ($5.99/mo. Value) For 24 Months Then Regular Rates Apply If You
Choose To Continue Service.
The end date of your promotion is Jun 25, 2025.

Included At No Extra Cost ($5.99/mo. Value).
This is not true - it never activated so I found a 50% off code for one year and used it - paid $69.99/one year because it was $19.99 for premium and $50 for ad free.
Will there be a refund? I am going to direct message this and see what is said.

Oh.My.God. I just tried Xfinity Assistant again and the magical banner appeared! I was able to click it, it took me to Peacock, and I was able to sign up. It all worked. So it can be done. Wonder if we'll get our month back...

Today was the magical day for me too! Gigabit customer, not enrolled in Rewards. After 25 days without Peacock, the "banner" showed up on the Assistant page today. Didn't use a special link or anything...just went to the Assistant page like I have been doing for 3 weeks, but the banner was there this time. That link took me to Peacock, where I logged in and it gave me the free offer. Then turned on my Roku TV and went to the Peacock app...and it's working! OK worked for me too, today. But as others stated before: So far Peacock is useless, because we cannot buy the ad-free addon anymore. So far... I hope they fix it or even better for all this trouble and timewasting they should throw in "ad-free" for free as an apology!
I'm not going to waste even more time on watching Peacock ads so they can make even more money... This is still ridiculous. How can this have taken more than 3 weeks and it is still not fixed entirely?!
