HBO NEW Shows not on demand

Why isn't the new show Run not available on demand? I pay for HBO. New Season of Insecure is available but not Run.

Contact HBO about that. They pull the strings.

Hi Mary,

We do not own the timelines for when content is made available on demand by content providers. But with that being said, I can confirm that if you subscribe to HBO via Xfinity, you should be able to watch episodes 1-3 on demand now.

Enjoy!

I subscribe to HBO through Xfinity.  And I can confirm that "Run" is not on OnDemand.  I just went through every "page" (since alphabetizing isn't always a rule followed in listing show/movie titles or channel names), and "Run" isn't anywhere to be found.

Hi,

You can say "Run" into your voice remote, or simply press "786" on the remote; this will bring up the T9 search results where Run should be among the top of list, click on it and this will take you to the show's entity page where you should be able to play episode 1 through 3.

I cannot enjoy if I cannot access the program On Demand. Others are seeing the same thing. It is not in the list of HBO shows on demand.

Just checked again at 6:47 PM and the show is not in the list so you are wrong. I am so over Comcast and so ready to cancel. Seems like a simple thing to fix.

No I cannot because I do not have a fancy remote. So I have to rely on what is in the list. OMG. Comcast needs to add the show to the On Demand list for HBO. Period.

Hi,

I understand that you have a native STB, I apologize for assuming you were trying to find it on an X1 device. The content should be visible in any of the following category paths on a native device:

HD On Demand/Premium Channels/HBO HD/HBO Series/Run/Season 1
Premium Channels/HBO/HBO HD/HBO Series/Run/Season 1
HD On Demand/TV Shows/By Network/HBO/Run/Season 1
HD On Demand/TV Shows/Shows Q-S/Run/Season 1
TV Shows/Shows Q-S HD/Run/Season 1
TV Shows/By Network/HBO/Run HD/Season 1
HD On Demand/Premium Channels/HBO HD/Featured on HBO/Run
Premium Channels/HBO/HBO HD/Featured on HBO/Run

For comparison, this is what the content looks like right now on X1:

Episode 1-3 are available for playback.

O.M.G. I have looked in all the places in my On Demand menu on my TV. It is not there. The fact that I can look it up on my computer is NOT helpful if I want to watch it the way I watch all the other On Demand shows.

I too have non-X1, legacy "Old-Timey" cable.  I can access episodes 1-3 by:

1) Selecting "Search" from near the bottom of the On Demand menu and

2) Entering the Keyword RUN

Hope this works for you!

The recommendation to search for Run is wrong. That takes me to the regular programing NOT to On Demand. Also another new HBO show that just started :We're Here also does not show up in the On Demand list for HBO so I am totally disgusted and frustrated now. Ridiculous. I am PAYING for this service.

Is this search button on the screen of your TV or on the remote? I don't see it.

Select "On Demand" on your remote

Select "Search" from the menu on the TV screen - you will need to scroll or page-down as "Search" is near the bottom of menu options.

On the remote, use the white arrow keys and the center OK key to enter the letters RUN

(mine is the silver remote with a red OK key)

also, entering the key word WER will get you to episode 1 of We're Here.

This is cumbersome, but until folders are created for these shows (& WGNA's Almost Paridise), we're stuck...

There is no "search" option in the menu that pops up when I select "on demand" so I cannot do what you suggest.

Also why is it taking so long to create the "folders" you mention? And I cannot do any of the things you suggest because there is not search option in my On Demand screens
