“ to be announced”

I replaced a set top box on Saturday and the channel guide is still displaying the message- to be announced- and not the actual channel information. I have unplugged the set top box three time with no change.

I have been having the same problem for the last two months. This message has been found on many of my HD channels, along with loos of a few local HD channels.

I have had an open ticket to have someone come check the outside cables to the house. No one showed. I was told on the "dark side" that some was trying to call (most likely from their home). We most likely may have blocked the call because of a non-Comcast phone number, and person not imediately identifying where and why he /she called. We blocked 80 calls for scams, political, etc. in the last 60 days.

The only way to watch these channels is to watch the lower SD channels found in the 100 to 200 series. 420p is a very inferior video for a 2160p television, or use our antenna for 1080i channels and video. I am still wating for someone to come out and fix the cable.
