X-1 DVR 4K

The box crashes every few says or so. I got a new box and it still crashes. My house was re wired by Comcast a couple of years ago to support nX-1. The box ha s been refreshed many time and it still crashed and has to be reset. I see many others having thios issue. It started after installing 4K DVR.

Have had customer service on the phone and they did a remote reset which didnt work. They suggested a new box which I did. We have not had a tech come out.

I’m not sure where you read about “crashes”. Does it just reset? Is it a cable outlet problem, have you tried a different location?Have you had a tech out recently? The rewrite a couple years ago doesn’t matter much

All of the other boxes on the house system continue to work after a crash except main BVR box
