Trouble

Just got a new cable in the mail and set it up following the instructions and then it says that ‘ATTENTION:YOUR EXPLORER SETTOP IS NOT AUTHORIZED FOR USE. What does this mean?

Since you changed cables (most likely with equipment powered) that can happen. After checking to make sure everything is correctly connected. Plug in the cable-box(s) and allow them to reset for about 5 minutes or more.   Then turn the cable box on. If you see that message again just call the number supplied for Comcast, or go to the site to get the box reactivated at your location. Calling works better since they will help you through the reactivation process.
