Are you new to cable?
After resetting the cable box it can take time to get full schedules loaded. Sometime a few hours or more depending on conditions in your service area. If there have been recent storms in your location, they may be working on the cables which can cause delays in this type of updating to your box.
I'm looking into updating my box to X1. For years, my iGuide (legacy) has had an issue where it will crash and reboot after 3-5 weeks. After the last crash a few days ago, it's now rebooting every 24-26 HOURS! This has been for two different boxes and two different locations, and started when Comcast added the 'interactive' features like caller-id and internet viewing of the recording schedule. Before that, I once had it going for over a year, and that reboot was only due to a power outage.
