Storm ready wifi needs attention

Xfinity app shows storm ready wifi "needs attention" but the app also shows cellular data strong signal and battery backup at 100%. I had an internet outage here and the storm ready wifi did not kick in to keep me online. What is the issue? I've tried power cycling Xfi router and the storm ready wifi device.

It appears to be fixed. I ended up visiting the r/Comcast_Xfinity subreddit and saw posts about my issue and Mods pointed to  account sync issue. So I messaged the mods my info per their post. Maybe they refreshed my account but I now see the Troubleshoot Device button in Xfinity app (WiFi tab > View WiFi equipment > Storm-Ready WiFi > Troubleshoot Device).

I power cycled the storm-ready device and “Needs attention” is gone.
I selected Troubleshoot Device for the first time and it says Strong signal and WiFi, and 100% Battery.

So I think my issue is resolved. Thanks

Hello @user_rkl1yx we're so sorry to hear that the Storm Ready Wi-Fi didn't kick in as expected. Have you had an opportunity to look at our Forums thread on troubleshooting Storm Ready Wi-Fi? I'm very confident this will help n getting things back on track.

Hi,

I've followed those steps prior, and I'm trying to find out what is wrong. I try to go to  WiFi tab > View WiFi equipment > Storm-Ready WiFi > Troubleshoot Device.  per the article, but my Xfinity app does not have the option to Troubleshoot Device.

Cellular data: Strong signal

Battery Backup: unknown

button options I have are:

-View troubleshooting tips

-Device details

-Storm-Ready WiFi FAQs

and at the top -Learn about Storm-Ready WiFi

No troubleshoot device option...
