Xfinity Stream suddenly missing local channels such as ABC and NBC on an Amazon Fire TV
My Xfinity Stream app suddenly has lost access to local channels such as ABC and NBC ( maybe more ) on an Amazon Fire TV. These channels have always been available on this TV before but now are gone for some reason. If I try to click on them, I get a message "Please connect to your in-home WiFi". This only happens on this one TV. The local channels all come up fine on the app on my other TV's, my PC, and Android phone. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app to no avail. I cannot understand why this is suddenly happening. Has anyone else experienced this or have any ideas?

Hey Xfinity, are you going to do something about this or do I need to cancel my service?
It's important to have these TVGO channels and we don't have to connected to in home network. Get your stuff together or a whole bunch will cancel service

I’m having the same exact issue as well for about a week now first the message said not connected to internet, which it was/is….. now the message says the channels are not included in my subscription…. [Edited: Profanity] so frustrated right now…..

Same issue for past few days- no ABC on stream with iphone on cellular service. Works on home WiFi but not when out . Technician said they are working on it but could not give any idea on timeline to fix.

All three channels just randomly started seeking for me again so maybe they fixed it?

The loss of ABC and CBS is being experienced by many according to the Comcast Customer Service people I have talked to. They claim to be working on a solution, however my CBS has been down for more than 2 months. They claim that because I am on Xfinity Stream, and not on my Home Network , there is a problem. During the summer months when we are on the road, we use other networks to get into our Xfinity account for streaming.
This is an unfair situation since our account includes these channels and I should be able to access them from the internet anywhere. I recently connected to an Xfinity Hotspot with my laptop and again could not get these two channels.
I continue to be underwhelmed with xfinity services. We have been without Peacock Premium, again on my account for over 3 months on my home network.
If an alternative service becomes available, we will be terminating our account with Xfinity.

Yes this has been going on for the last 2 weeks and I have no idea what is going on and XFinity said there is not an outage so what are we supposed to do in the meantime

Add me to the long list of customers who are unable to use the Xfinity Stream app away from home to access local channels. Since this is a major reason why I’ve kept Comcast it’s definitely time to look at a change. It’s hard to understand why they don’t suggest a solution, but respond to every message on this forum, as if they are hearing the problem for the first time.

I am experiencing the same. I can no longer stream my local channels (ABC,CBS,FOX etc.) outside of my home WIFI network. I have gotten nowhere with XFINITY chat agents after hours of interactions. This is frustrating and is unacceptable.

I'm having the same issue. Starting yesterday, Xfinity Stream apps (on Roku, Google TV, Apple, and Android) all stopped showing my normal list of channels. Has there been any updates on why this keeps occurring?

I am having issues with getting live channels on stream. I finally deleted and reinstalled the app on the firestick and seemed to fix it for now. Still not working on my iPhone. Trying to get an agent (chat or phone call) is practically non-existent. 45 in line before me. Finally got someone in the chat and then they disconnected me. Horrible customer service.

Just happened to us using Roku. ABC FOX and NBC gone. Has just gone though reinstall of Xfinity streaming app a couple days ago because nothing would come up. Also menu clock seems an hour behind on and off lately.
