Tvapp-00500 error code
I was on the phone with support for OVER and hour. And they could not figure out why my xfinity stream, which I've had for 8 months, was not working. After numerous failed attempts they told me to give them another hour so thru could run diagnostics. They then sent me a text and said everything should be working fine now. NOPE. Still not working. They even had me delete the xfinity stream app, re-install and still.not working. It's giving me the error code TVAPP-00500
This has been an ongoing issue and it's unacceptable at this point.
I pay for the "fastest" internet and the internet barely works in my house. I harely get wifi anywhere in my home. I have been complaining about slow wifi for years and now during the diagnostic they say they see there matly ne a connectivity issue with my modem.
This is ridiculous and I've been lied to for years now.

Still having issues with xfinity app on my roku TV still get the code tvapp-00500 and I did everything the rep said to do and still unable to stream. This is ridiculous for a company so big and charges outrageous amounts of money for service and still can't figure out why a tvapp-00500 error is happening and can't fix it is beyond me. Why have something you can't fix for your customers.

I’m having the same issue. I deleted then reinstalled the app. I’m getting the TVAPP-00500 error message. How do we resolve it?

Me too... started today. Was working fine for years. No go on Roku Smart Tv or my Roku Express 4k.

Wish I could get a live body to talk to I have a 65" Roku Smart TV and installed the xfinity stream app, went through setup but when I get to watch live TV and select the channel guide it always gives me the TVAPP-00500 error message too. No help at all is available. The TV is updated, have unistalled and reinstalled the app several times but keep getting this error. When I connect my XUMO streambox all is well but I should not have to pay additional for something that should be included with my service.

I am also having the same issue with the same error message tvapp-00500 I recently switched to xfinity and I am amazed at the fact you cannot call and speak to a person it’s all automated help which is not working this is extremely frustrating I will have to go back to Verizon

Stream app is giving me a TVAPP-00500. I’ve logged out and logged back in. I’ve reset my tv. I deleted the app and reinstalled it.

Most of my X1 system went down a week and a half ago. Techs out here twice. Fixed some issues. Then the Roku errored out with the TVAPP-00500 error. It eas working then the guys with the bucket trucks came to try to fix outside hardware even a ways upstream from our house. This all ended with the team leaving and then getting the error message on Toku along with other error messages. Everything worked fine a week and a half ago then it all started falling apart… freezing, black screens, error messages. We pay way too much for this service to be this poor.
