Xg1v4 overheating
I recently swapped and received the 4k DVR box. Since the install I have had various issues. I’ve changed the coax,etc. The one thing that I have noticed is the device gets hot, I’m talking 120 degrees. This doesn’t seem normal operating temperature. Please advise

@user_675df2 !
Thank you for reaching out to me on our Xfinity Forums! This does sound like you need to reposition your box to a location with proper air circulation or we need to get you a new box.
For information on getting your box positioned for optimal airflow, see this video https://youtu.be/rhjM-HHWwAk
If you need to have your box swapped, you can either take the box into an Xfinity Service Center and swap it out or I can order you one to be shipped to you. If you would like me to ship it, will you please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address?

Please make sure the box has adequate air space. Do not stack it on another device, or enclose it in a cabinet.

@user_675df2 check on top side, middle-front for a small round fan (an inch diameter or so). Is it turning? may need a bright light of some kind to see it. The fan may be stuck.
