Xfinity XR11 remote help

I would be so grateful if someone could help me navigate the xfinity XR11 remote so I can switch tv input on my Sony tv.  I’ve tried everything in the thread below but nothing is working. I press the tv input and see the bar appear with options but nothing allows me to move off the current input. Can someone provide any help?

If pressing Input multiple times does not change the selection, you won't be able to use the Comcast remote to change inputs.

Hi, @NicoleR500. Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us. It would be my pleasure to assist you with this. Just to confirm, pressing the input button on the remote doesn't change the input, correct? If this is the case, may I please have the model of your Sony Tv?

I have a similar problem with older JVC TV Model JLE42BC3001 and an XR11 Remote. The remote is programmed to the TV and the power and volume control works fine. When I press input, I see the list of available inputs, and as I continue to press it scrolls/loops through the all available input options.  However, it does not actually select an input. A few seconds after I stop pressing, the menu goes away and nothing has changed.  Thots?

Hey @harrigillr, thank you for reaching out to Xfinity Support on our forums. Have you tried pairing the remote with one of the other codes to see if the input works with them? Our website here will list out the codes to try. Just select the XR11 remote and JVC.

why can't I get a new xr11 remote from Xfinity?  I was told they don't have that model anymore.
