Xfinity DVR will not record anything on CBS

All this week, the DVR will not record anything on CBS.  On the guide it shows the red dots at the program, but it doesn't actually record them.  It won't even record the current program.  If I go to Saved/Scheduled, they don't show up in the list (even though the guide shows the red dots).

 

I unplugged the power for over a minute and the DVR reset, but it still doesn't work.

 

I saw that a large number of people were having a similar problem in November, 2020.  Some people got it resolved, but I don't know how.

 

Does anyone know a solution?

@JudMcCranie, I am sorry for the trouble you are experiencing in sending us a message. I completely understand how frustrating that can be, please rest assured, we got your back and can definitely assist in getting us on a private  message to assist you further with your DVR issues. When you click on our names, can you describe the page you are taken too? Are you currently signed into your Xfinity account?

I am signed in.  I could send you a screen shot, but I don't know how.

 

It says Xfinity community forum, it gives info about Comcast Valerie, official employee, since 12-8-20, 37 posts, and some graphics.

Can someone tell me how to enable PM?  I've found references to settings/preferences, but there is no such thing in my settings.

It should be on the right top side in her profile page which it sounds like you got to. It is a Blue box.

The blue box is absolutely nor there for me.  (I have a screenshot, but I don't see how to post it here.)  And they can't contact me by PM.

 

However, last night I found something like "system refresh" or "system update" on my user page.  I did that and it took 15 minutes, but it fixed the problem.  (Refreshing the box several days ago did not fix the problem.)

The pic probably has to approved by a mod. I had it to the right of @ComcastValerie  name in her profile, not sure why its not there for you.

I'm so sorry for the continued issues you've been experiencing with trying to send us a Private Message. I worked with our team and we were able to get the issue fixed for you. Just refresh your page, and you should now see the option to send us a Private Message. Just click my name "ComcastPeter", and you should now see the “Send a message" button there.

What is the answer to the cbs issue?  It started when paramount went live. It doesn’t record any cbs show. Please check with cbs, per my contract with you I don’t see any restriction n recording live content. Thank you.
