Tennis Channel NOT recording properly

have tried and tried to record all sessions of the French Open on my Comcast account DVR. I’ve tried making a series recording and/or recording a single session from the Channel Guide. (Tennis Channel #411). When I look at “scheduled recordings”, the sessions are there. But then no recording of the session is actually made. Also, the window that comes up to record a session shows only one hour will be recorded even though I’m recording from the Guide that shows the program is multiple hours long. I have reset my DVR but that didn’t help. I have never seen that particular window before when setting up a future recording. This is quite irritating! Please advise

Hello everyone! When it comes to Tennis or other sport-related channels, sometimes you will need to set manual recordings instead of recordings based on the guide.

You can check out the following guide and it will walk you through the steps of setting up these types of recordings! :)

I have the same issue. I also am unable to watch recorded shows longer than 8 hours. At hour 8 the playback kicks me out.

I have similar issue, not able to record Tennis Channel; including current  rome event.   I dropped YouTubetV for Xfinigy specifically for Tennis Channel.    I will have to drop Xfinity if this issue can't be resolved.

I have the same problem… can’t record The Tennis channel. The whole reason we got cable was for the tennis channel. We are also on the verge of dropping our cable. Please help!

Oh no, @user_d713bf! I'm sure this is really frustrating! When you view the scheduled recordings, are you seeing the recording showing as scheduled? What happens when you attempt to record (or view)? Is there an error code or message?

I am also having trouble recording the French Open on the tennis channel. My program schedule shows it’s set to record but I don’t see the regular red dots on the guide.  And then it does not record!!!

Tennis channel will record for me, but only for one hour. When I look at the recording listing it says channel: TNND – 394.,

Not the program name. Tennis channel programs run 6 to 12 hours so we should be able to record the program.
