Remote and cable box slow

We just got a new X one cable box the other day at the Xfinity store when we upgraded our account we have noticed that the remote is very slow in sending commands to the box and the box is very slow in responding to commands to change channels which makes things really really slow since they are both not functioning normally we have a top Internet package so there should not be a speed issue and we also have the X5 gateway which is also working just fine.

Hi! I appreciate you letting us know about your box issue. It definitely shouldn't act like that and we can check everything out and see what the best step is. Did you receive a new coaxial cable that you put in?
